Sex Therapy
Sexuality and physical intimacy are natural parts of the human experience, yet they are often surrounded by confusion, pressure, or silence. Sex therapy provides a safe, clear, and judgment-free space to discuss intimacy, physical connection, desire, and comfort.
Many people carry anxiety about whether they are "normal" when it comes to their sexual health and desires. My goal is to relieve that pressure.
What does “systemic” sex therapy mean?
Systemic Sex Therapy looks at sex as it actually happens: embedded in real life, real bodies, real stress, and real contexts:
Body & Physiology: How physical health conditions, body changes, pelvic pain, hormones, fatigue, or medication side effects intersect with real-world comfort and sensory experience.
Headspace & Anxiety: Unpacking performance pressure, body-based stigma, brain chatter, past trauma, or the exhausting demand to put on an act.
Relational Reality: Mapping differences in desire, communication styles, power dynamics, or shifting expectations—whether between two partners, within polycules, or across non-traditional setups.
Inherited Stories: Unearthing the lingering weight of family values, religious conditioning, gender expectations, and cultural messaging about who gets to experience pleasure and how.
In sex therapy, our focus includes:
Removing Shame and Pressure: We dismantle the idea that intimacy has to follow a strict timeline or performance metric. We look at sex and physical connection as ongoing, personal experiences rather than tests to pass.
Addressing Life Changes and Differences: Whether you are navigating differences in desire, changes in physical ability or body comfort, or the ongoing impact of stress on intimacy, we work on practical ways to rebuild comfort and connection.
Fostering Open Communication: We cultivate a straightforward, supportive dialogue where you can talk openly about your physical needs, boundaries, questions, and goals without fear of criticism.
We move at a pace defined entirely by your comfort. We talk openly about bodies, mechanics, and sexual habits, untangling persistent myths and naming hard truths long before considering specific interventions.
Who I Work With
I offer sex therapy that respects a broad spectrum of relationship structures, sexualities, and personal expressions. Whether you are navigating monogamy, consensual non-monogamy, kink, or unique relational agreements, you do not need to censor your language or tone down your reality.
